Before the Fair 1. Discuss your college plans with your guidance counselor, family, teachers, and friends.
2. Research your colleges of interest on the internet.
3. Answer the following questions to help you determine what kind of school would best suit you.

- Do you want to attend a school in an urban, suburban or rural environment?
- Do you want to attend a two- or four-year institution? Co-ed or gender specific?
- Do you wish to participate in any specific extra-curricular activities or athletics?
- What size school do you want to attend?
- What programs of study are you considering?
- How far from home do you want to attend college?


4. Register by the deadline date before attending our College Fair.

5. Plan ahead on your own time to schedule the seminars, assessment test, visiting the college booths, and counseling for the fair.

6. Prepare your own simple resume listing your name, year of graduation, college/intended major, GPA, exam scores, and extracurricular activities for counselors to efficiently give you the most effective advice.

7. Bring a copy of your registration, a pen / pencil, and notepad

8. Prepare list of questions that you would like to ask to the college admission officers.

- What are the admission requirements?
- What qualities should prospective students have?
- Which standardized test scores do you require?
- What majors are offered? What¡¯s the most popular majors?
- Are interview required?

Financial Aid
- Which is the average class size?
- Will professors or graduate students teach my courses?
- What student services are offered?

Student Life
- What special interest group, activities, fraternities/sororities are available?
- Are any programs offered to help students adjust to the college life?

Housing
- What type of housing is available?
- Is student housing guaranteed for four years?

Others
- What is the school known for?
- How safe is the campus and its surrounding neighborhoods?


At the Fair 1. Pick up a bag and a fair directory.

2. DO NOT miss the keynote speech and our inspirational speaker!

     (Please check the schedule ahead of time and schedule accordingly!)

3. Visit the college and university booths that meet your criteria.

4. Talk with a college counselor at the one-on-one counseling session
   if you have any questions or need help with your college admission planning.

5. Attend the workshops and assessment test session.
